Emily is an anusara-inspired yoga teacher with 8 years of teaching experience. Anusara is a Hatha based yoga system focusing on alignment, action, and intention. These aspects weave together to create harmony in a yoga practice. She
weaves alignment, storytelling, humor, and wisdom into every class.
I fell in love with yoga in 2001. Seeking peace after 9/11, I walked in to a yoga class in Brooklyn and never looked back. My love was reignited when I took my first anusara yoga class in Los Angeles in 2006. I was moved to study and commit my life to the teachings of yoga and share it with others.
