Since becoming certified as a yoga teacher in 2008, I’ve taken countless workshops, and have been exposed to and influenced by a diversity of teachers and styles. Among my influences are: Baptiste, Ashtanga, Yin, Prana Flow, Anusara, Kripalu, and Sri Vidya Tantra.

Scott is a self-taught yoga teacher that began his journey in the Bikram practice in 2002. It wasnt long before he was teaching that discipline and over the years has created his own styles of static and vinyasa flow yoga. His primarily focused is on posture and he's known for detailed instruction to the individual. His practices are challenging and yet he creates an environment in which every individual is free to go at their own pace, rest when they need to work when they're ready to.

Yoga has been a part of my life for over a decade. My practice has helped me grow stronger, more flexible and fearless both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires me to live each moment more mindfully.

I completed my TT from OneFlow in Northern California I will always be a student of this practice and I am deeply grateful for the loving wisdom my teachers have shared with me.

With over 20 years of experience in the wellness industry, Rose is a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) with 800 hours of IAYT-accredited training and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500) with Yoga Alliance. She is also a certified Buti Yoga instructor, personal trainer, and experienced retreat facilitator.

Rose’s approach to Yoga Therapy is deeply personalized, meeting each client exactly where they are.

Karina found her practice at a time in her life when she thought she knew herself well. She fell in love with the self discovery component because it allowed her to find her true self and she reflected the following: “I invested significant time into learning the stories of the people around me. Through yoga, I realized that I neglected to learn my own. I believe yoga is a vessel to teach us the truth about who we are

I began as a student at East Wind in 2007 and spent the next several years drifting in and out of practice. In 2013 I fully committed to my practice, and in 2018 completed a RYT 200 hour certification at East Wind Yoga.

Initially I was drawn to yoga for the physical aspect, but instead fell in love with my deeper breath, quieting my busy mind, and the contentment I felt throughout the day.

This practice is humbling and it is magical. It challenges us to take risks. We are capable of so much!

Michael has been practicing yoga for 10 years and has completed three 200 Yoga teacher trainings. With roots in vinyasa and ashtanga yoga, he combines inspiration from many areas. He enjoys hiking, traveling, seeing live music and taking landscape photography in his free time. His classes will be challenging but also suitable for all levels with modifications being offered. He will focus on emphasizing correct posture and alignment throughout the class.

My yoga journey started with Hot Yoga. Although it was challenging, I fell in love with the heat and the asana. There is a special bond between the heat and the body in hot yoga that allows you to learn how to better control the breath and mind while the body is being challenged. It can be very empowering to discover various layers of the self while working through heated asana. Whether it is a familiar posture or something new and challenging, the heat will help train your breath to find ease.

Yoga is a gift. It is a gift to learn, a gift to practice and a gift to teach. I am a registered yoga teacher (200 RYT) with training in both hatha and kundalini yoga. I have long studied eastern philosophy and various forms of meditation. Additionally, I am an experienced team builder and have created multiple successful businesses. My goal as a yoga teacher (and in life) is to help people be healthy and happy and live their life to the fullest.

I have been practicing yoga for nearly 20 years with plenty of breaks in between. Through every joy, trauma, and ego death, yoga calls me back to practice, align, and ground the spiritual, into the physical, or transmute the physical into the spiritual. I have a 200-hour certification from MVP Yoga and am currently completing a 500-ytt and applied polyvagal theory in yoga therapy cert. My goal is to help people heal from trauma through yoga, great food, loving community

My yoga journey began at East Wind in 2011 as a purely physical practice, but over time it revealed something deeper - a way to connect mind, body, and breath. After completing my teacher training in 2017, I have been instructing ever since.

While my classes are physically engaging, my true emphasis is linking breath to movement and practicing with intention and purpose. Rather than teaching only a traditional Vinyasa flow, I place a strong focus on standing and balancing postures

My biggest passion is Yoga and sharing it with others. Through Yoga, I have learned to better tap into the infinite source of love and abundance within myself. Through teaching Yoga I can help others connect with what is already inside of them waiting to be utilized. When not on the mat, I love to be in my garden taking care of my plants, art, doing anything outdoors involving hiking, running or swimming, spending time in solitude, or out socializing connecting with others! Finding my voice as a teacher has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. It shaped me into who I am and clarified my purpose. I’m deeply grateful that I get to do this work that I affectionately call my “love job” and I am continually inspired by the beautiful souls who step into the room

Bobby fell in love with yoga when trying it as an addition to his weight lifting and cardio routine. The benefits he received clearly took him to a new depth of physical and mental endurance, as well as a deeper connection with his spirit. He took his original yoga training from the Forrest Style of yoga, and continued on with well-known instructors in the Bhakti, Bikram, Thai, and Vinyasa influences. His passion has also inspired him to study beyond his trainings.

Heather is the Strategic Partner and Co-Owner of East Wind Yoga Studios with Andrea Spacek. Although Heather has been a student of yoga since 1999, she will tell you she is just beginning and that the journey is ever new and unfolding. To deepen her practice she recently completed a 200 hour Yoga Alliance training here at East Wind, and fell even deeper in love with how vast the unknown remains. Here at East Wind, Heather remains forever a student, as well.
