Questions?
You can reserve your spot or purchase classes online through Mindbody using our class scheduler, but it’s not required. You’re always welcome to simply arrive about 15 minutes early to check in and get settled.
If you feel unsure or intimidated, that’s normal - we’ve all been there. Once you’re in the room, you’ll see that you’re free to move at your own pace, modify as needed, and rest whenever your body asks for it.
This space is designed for all levels. Whether you’re new or experienced, there is a place for you here.
Show up. Trust your body. That’s enough.
What Should I Wear?
Dress to sweat. With the exception of our Yin and Restore classes, all other classes are conducted in heated rooms, and you will be dripping by the end. Some men choose to wear just shorts. Some women wear just their sports bras and yoga pants, but choose breathable materials that are made for sweat. The level of heat is noted in the description for each class.
What do I need to bring?
Bring a yoga towel, yoga mat, yoga mat towel, water bottle, and wear clothes that are suitable for hot conditions. We do have cups for water, and also yoga mats, and yoga mat towels for rent or for purchase as well.
What and when should I eat
Some people do not eat anything two hours before class and others eat lightly to maintain blood sugar levels. This really depends on your constitution, but it is best to practice with little to no unprocessed food in your belly. Best choices are easily digestible foods. Come well-hydrated, and be sure to drink plenty of water after class with added salts, minerals, or electrolytes to replenish.
Do you have beginner or advanced classes?
We believe in offering classes that challenge students at al levels of experience, ages, and abilities. What happens in that space is that we are shown what’s possible and what it’s like to be a beginner, and are able to rise up together, no matter where we are on the spectrum. We welcome you if you have never done yoga and we welcome you if you have been practicing for many years. Our youngest student is 5 years old and we have people practicing who are in their 80s.
What time should I arrive for my class?
Arrive 20 minutes early for your first class to fill out a liability waiver and get oriented to the space. There are changing rooms with showers available at both studios as well.
Do I need to register ahead of time or can I just show up?
Either way is fine, just make sure to arrive 15-20 minutes early. If you choose to use
for online registration you can track your account balance and register for classes in the future.
